Is this bad?

Having a friend text message you to tell you that the singer for a band you enjoy is on the radio, giving an interview and singing in studio. Then calling the friend and listening through the phone to the interview and the 2 songs. Oh and the friend is sitting in their car...in their driveway. Cuz they are that awesome and wanted to make sure I heard it.
