Slightly freaking out...I have two days picked out for moving...which is more than just saying August. August 9th or August 16th. Thats the day I would leave Seattle and start driving to NOLA. WOW. I really think I can make this happen this time. I set up a profile yesterday on easyroommates.com to try to find a roomie. I would love my own place, but will have a roommate if I have to. I think I may since my credit is so shoddy. Next step...job hunting!!!

I started the weekend with one cute boy and ended with another. Too bad one is gay and the other one is waaaaay to young for me.

What a great weekend....

I got to the Crocodile at around 6:30/6:45. There weren't that many people there about 15-20. The tickets said 8:00, so I was suprised. The Crocodile is super tiny. (Bone fans think Tobacco Road) I jump in line and can hear the guys doing the sound check. Around 7:00 they let start to let us in. But just to the Cafe part....we stood there for another hour before they opened the curtain and let us into the stage area...then we had to wait until 9:00 for the band to take the stage....talk about a looooong wait. But so worth it in the end.

Donna, you know I love ya...but I was soooo mad at the girl in front of me. She was tall...and it was hard to see around her. But you know that wasn't the main problem. It was the fact that she kept backing up into me to "have space" well honey when your right up front you aren't gonna get that, and I kept having to remind her that there were people behind me and they weren't moving and to stop moving back so much. Thankfully the second set she left and took her drunk friends with her. All the better for me to be closer to Jimmy.

Anyway...it was pretty warm in this tiny room..and it got only hotter as Train took the stage. Pat strolled out in a Harry-esqeu outfit with the addition to a nice sports jacket over it. He started the show by reading a Ralph Waldo Emerson poem...it was beautiful and it reminded me of CM....by the second song the jacket was off, and then his black shirt started getting all sweaty and sticking to him. (thats a visual just for Kristy) Jimmy sweats just as much as Fred if at all possible..then again I thought I was sweating as much as Fred. They played an awesome, tight first set. I don't know the full first set list (waiting for Brandon to post over on the Train board) but they played Train (such a sexy song), Meet Virginia, She's on Fire, Rat, Getaway in which Pat was featured on the jingle bells AND the sax, Ordinary the new song from Spiderman. Such a freaking awesome song, Calling all Angels, and Rasberry Beret. I am listening to the CD right now!!
Second set, I got the set list:
What is and Shall Be
Ramble
Save the Day
Get to Me
Flatfoot
Mississippi
Respect
Natural (another new song)
Eggplant
Free
Its about You
Drops of Jupiter
Signed, Sealed, Delivered

During Save the Day Pat was leaning down and singing part fact to face with this girl....OMG I would have DIED. Then during Mississippi, he usually pulls a girl onstage to dance with...but he said he couldn't decide and that he wanted to dance with us all(best thing about being a rock star all the good looking girls so Pat says) So Pat comes into the crowd and dances with everyone...he was like 2 people away from me. I was conflicted...Pat or Jimmy? Pat or Jimmy It was awesome. The are such a great band to see live. They sounded awesome, and were still a lot of fun. Not crazy like CM, but a relaxed get you going fun. I am bummed I am missing the next two nights....OH right before the show ended Jimmy was slapping hands and he got to mine and grabbed it and did a sloooooow slap so he was half holding my hand, and he was slapping people with his other hand. I got the long one. tee hee

I had called the Crocodile before going to the show and they said no cameras...so I left it at work. Guess what? They weren't checking and there were lots of cameras. oh well...maybe if it works out for me to go to another show....

"to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;to give oneself; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiam and have sung with exultation ;to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success."

This is the poem Pat read to start the show. Well this is the part he read..there is more to it....and actually while looking for it online...I found out that Emerson may have not written it. Its called Success...and then they launched into Train.....the bass on this song...OMG...I love having this CD...have my headphones on and the bass is fantastic!!

"Now I know what you like to do, and I am willing to do it all night long, now I know what you want me to say and I am willing to say it all night long...cuz the last time I was here in Seattle WA, I remember you that you blew my mind and I know what you like to do, and I want to do it all night long, so look at yourself girl, look at myself boy, now seriously I just want you to think about yourself girl and how you blow my mind...your 24 or 25 or 26 or 30 something which is the perfect age by the way......now I remember you did that one thing and I can't tell everyone what it was but it was really good!" *sigh* That will set Kristy off.

can you tell I was practicing my transcription skills?

Little bit of Jimmy Visual..

Damn bakesale here at work. I am hopped up on sugar..and just a little while longer till I can go home...can't just leave the boss hangin...or can I? *insert evil laugh*

You know what I hate? Its a silly thing, but still drives me nuts. I did my nails the other nice, a nice bright pink. To add some color to my life to make up for the dreary that is around me. And not a day and a half later its all chipped. Damn filing that I had to do. Guess I will have to do them again tomorrow.

Now I am gonna attempt something I haven't done here...lets see if I can figure this out...

hey i did it!! yeah me!!

A dreary day here in Seattle, but I can't complain. We actually need the rain. It hasn't been doing it that much this spring. And I am stuck at work, so why would I want it to be nice out? Yesterday, I spent the afternoon at the ballpark watching the Mariners lose to the Yankees. The second inning was exciting...six runs scored by the Mariners, with no outs...very sweet. Then they let the lead slip away. *sigh* hard to be a Mariner fan right now, but I will stick by them....

I just found out earlier today that my cousin Sean is being sent to Iraq in July. He is right now based in Alaska, where he has been teaching pilots survival techinques. It was an area he really excelled at, being a Montana boy who did a lot of hunting/fishing it all just comes natural to him. I am of course worried that something bad could happen, he is young, younger than myself and has his wife and a new baby to come home too. Not to mention the rest of his family. This war is no fun.

oh my....too much fun was had last night. I am paying for it today. I must resist cute boys but it is way too hard!!! Other than the red wine being spilled on a white shirt...there was no major drama....just a lot of alchol being consumed. Trying to decide if I can escape here early now. A great time was had by all.

I am very much looking forward to going home and sleeping. Of course don't want to sleep through Friends!! Must watch the final eppie tonight. So I can bawl like a baby. The state I am in now...I will so be bawling.

Mom and Dad are giving me an early birthday present. They are bought half a plane ticket for me to come down there to see the Harry show on the 17th of July. I am very excited, my first Harry show was with mom and dad...and to go to the Red Rocks Ampitheatre..thats gonna be well breathtaking!!

Cute boys=trouble. but I love em!! I had a great time out this past Friday, the Friday before that, oh and the Friday before that. Same group..well mostly. I have been hanging out with straight boys!! YES!!! Michael asked me yesterday what was up with me and hanging out with straight boys because I don't normally do that. LOL of course he wanted me to go out with him last night, but I didn't. I couldn't do that again. I love my Michael...but since he said he didn't get home until 3:00 this morning, I am GLAD I didn't go.
